Camp Overnight
With
more than 100 hands on exhibits, Camp Overnight is a
great way for groups to spend time involved in fun-filled
activities which include your choice of a variety of
Hands-on Workshops and viewing one of our special Space
Theater presentations.
Are
you ready for a unique overnight adventure? Camp Overnight
at the Discovery Center is an exciting opportunity for
Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts to have an overnight camping
experience. We will have cool science activities, time
in the exhibit gallery and a special show in the Space
Theater. We will top it off with a late night snack
just before you fall asleep amongst the exhibits.
TIME:
From 6:30 p.m. on Friday until 8:45 a.m. Saturday
WHO:
Scouts in the 1st-8th grades and their chaperones
WHERE:
Don Harrington Discovery Center, Amarillo
COST:
*Contact your local scout office--The price covers workshop
instruction/ materials, museum admission, Space Theater
show, activities, evening snack, and continental breakfast.
Plus, same day re-admission to The Discovery Center
for additional browsing and fun is included in all event
fees.
