Discovery Center’s Eggstravaganza 2003
April 19, 2003 9:00am–12:00pm
The Don Harrington Discovery Center and PNB Financial present
Eggstravaganza 2003, the largest egg hunt in the Panhandle
with 10,000 eggs. Children will enjoy coming to the Discovery
Center to search for the Golden Egg, take part in sing-alongs,
play games, have their face painted, make crafts and meet
the Easter Bunny! Advanced tickets will go on sale March 14th
thru April 17th. Cost is $8 for non-members and $6 for members.
Tickets on the day of the event will be $10 per child. Tickets
will include the egg hunt, activities and admission to the
Discovery Center including the exhibit floor and a special
planetarium show. All tickets must be purchased at the Don
Harrington Discovery Center, 1200 Streit Drive or by calling
355-9547.
Egg hunt times for individual categories are as follows:
- 10:00 am- 2&3 year olds
- 10:15 am- 4&5 year olds
- 10:30 am- 6&7 year olds
- 10:45 am- 8,9, &10 year olds
- 11:00 am- Blind & Visually impaired, all ages
- 11:15 am- Make up Hunt- for any one who missed a previous
egg hunt
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Don’t forget
to bring your Easter Basket!

The museum is a private, not-for-profit organization that
makes science exciting, relevant and interesting to all types
of learners by providing interactive exhibits and programs
that actively engage children, adolescents and their families.
