The
Puzzle Barrier
New Space Theater show to premier this weekend
at the Don Harrington Discovery Center.
Put on your
thinking cap and start scratching your head about the many riddles
around us as we explore “The Puzzle Barrier.” Join the
crew of the USS Conundrum as they are trapped inside an alien artifact.
Their only means of escape: solve various puzzles that are presented
to them. An original production by the Don Harrington Discovery
Center, “The Puzzle Barrier” explores the history and
the science behind many of the popular puzzles we enjoy trying to
solve.
“The Puzzle
Barrier,” produced by the Discovery Center, will be shown
June 26 to November 24, 2004 at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
(no 11:00 a.m. show on Sundays).
Amazing Science exhibit area is included with museum admission.
Admission to the museum is $5.50 for adults, $4.50 for children
ages 3 to 12 and $5.00 for senior citizens and students (ages 13-22
with school ID). Space Theater admission is included with the Discovery
Center admission. Museum hours are from Tuesday thru Saturday 9:30
a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Sunday from Noon to 4:30 p.m. The Center is
closed on Mondays.
The museum is
a private, not-for-profit organization that makes science exciting,
relevant and interesting to all types of learners by providing interactive
exhibits and programs that actively engage children, adolescents
and their families. It fosters inquiring minds and nurtures the
individual genius that is within each of us.
